FREELANCE FILMAKER TO LEAD YOUTH PROJECT
Mahua Youth Project are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring freelance filmmaker to assist a group of young people aged between 8-12 to create their own short film. Filmmaker must have previous experience working with young people and have an enhanced CRB check.
The filmmaker will lead the group creatively to come up with their own idea for a short film and then train and support the group so that they are able to create it.
The project will take place in spring 2010 over seven sessions, two sessions will be held over weekends and five during weekdays.
The project is based in east London.

PART TIME FREELANCE PROJECT MANAGER
Mahua Arts Project are looking for an additional dynamic and creative project manager.
The candidate would ideally have a media and arts background, be self-motivated and able to work with a production based timetable. They would need good communication and people skills and be used to dealing with press and publicity for arts based events. The role requires knowledge of contemporary Asian arts.
The candidate will be required to manage creative projects with the local community, this will include raising funds through to the delivery of projects.
This part time freelance position is initially for six months at three days per week.
